Our Performing Arts Club has finished for the summer and members received a certificate to mark their achievement in completing the sessions.
They also had a picnic, reviewed what they enjoyed doing and what they would like to do more of and took their instruments home.
The sessions have covered all aspects of putting on a performance with activities ranging from making musical instruments out of milk bottles to learning about rhythm, tone and melody. Everyone had the chance to have a go at playing a ukulele.
Members also made spoon puppets and created stories including one where Marilyn Monroe's mansion was broken into. PC Mencap and Steve McDonald from Sun Hill investigated and discovered it was naughty Kate Dangerspoon who did it!
Performing Arts Club returns in the autumn.
