Hear Our Voice speak out about Reading

_{Hear Our Voice have been sharing what they value most about living in Reading at Your Place Our Place.}

_{They’ve been giving their input into what places in the town are important to them – like Reading Mencap – and what is needed to ensure they are accessible to people with learning disabilities as part of the Community Consultation for Quality of Life (CCQOL) project.} 

_{Hear Our Voice (formerly Coffee Club) meet on a Monday morning at the Museum of English Rural Life – an important part of their remit is to take part in consultations and give views from their perspective.}

_{People are leaving comments about all sorts of places they enjoy visiting and saying what they like about them and how the places make them feel.}

_{For example, Reading Mencap is a great place and staff are lovely!} 

_{You can visit Your Place Our Place in person – on the ground floor of Broad Street Mall by the Poundland shop, Oxford Road RG1 7QE, where you can post your comments on the map or use a tablet to add information for consultation. There’s always someone to assist with this there.}

_{Alternatively, there’s a digital platform for you to have a say and pin what places are important to you and how they make you feel.}
