We’re busy getting ready for Harris Garden

Spotty socks, spiral t-shirts and swirly tote bags will be on sale at our summer fair at Harris Garden on Sunday from 2 – 5pm.

Our Coffee Clubbers have been busy folding, twisting, crumpling and dipping to make a colourful range of tie-dyed garments.  It’s been a little messy but great fun and we hope they go down a treat – all profits benefit Reading Mencap.

We’ve also got a host of exciting businesses including Tropics, Fool the Bees, La Radiance, Magpies Jewellery, Hartland Fudge, Little Puku, Gaythorne Vintage, Jade’s Rainbow Faces, Avon, Mary Kay Beauty, Ashers, Angelfish, Aloe Living with Sally, M Travel and Fifi’s Vision.

All the old favourite Reading Mencap stalls will be there as well – plants, tombola, raffle, crafts, games and refreshments.

Our Patron, Sir John Madejski, will perform the opening ceremony at 2pm.

Harris Garden, Reading University campus via Pepper Lane RG6 6UR. Please visit www.friendsofharrisgarden.org.uk for directions.

Sorry, no dogs are allowed in the garden.
