We are excited to welcome Ruth Bailey from Dexter Montague Solicitors who specialises in advising people with disabilities and their families.  Ruth has extensive experience in court of protection matters, wills, taxation, and inheritance alongside a particular interest in capacity, clear communication, person centred lifetime planning and specialist trusts.  Ruth is passionate that we all have access to the right legal resources individual to each and every one of us.

Ruth qualified as a solicitor more than 10 years ago and joined Dexter Montague in 2021.  Dexter Montague is a firm with a clear professional ethos which seeks to balance the business of providing legal services with the vocational role of lawyers serving their community.  Ruth chose her career in law while she was working for a regional charity as a ‘lay advocate’ for people with learning disability labels and she is pleased to continue to empower people and their families within a community minded, user friendly, law firm.
