Carers’ get-together on Whittington’s Tea Barge

Unpaid family carers are invited to join us for afternoon tea on Whittington’s Tea Barge. We have exclusive use of the barge, which is moored on the north bank of the River Thames at Hills Meadow. Please note the barge will remain static.
If you do not have any respite for the person you care for, they are very welcome to join us. There are a couple of steps to navigate but otherwise the barge is accessible.
We will also be joined by Helen Luckin, our new Family Health Adviser, who you can chat to about her new role supporting patients with learning disabilities to access the health services they need.
Hills Meadow is by Reading Bridge. Parking is available at Hills Meadow car park.
This event is free thanks to funding from the Midcounties Co-op.
