Brand new funding for children and young people's mental health in Reading. Dr Deb Hunter, Principal Child & Educational Psychologist will be attending to discuss the new Trailblazer funding. Come and have your say in how this might best help your child. 

There will be qualified helpers on site to supervise children, so that you can be free to listen to the talk. (Please note these spaces are limited).

Accessing Public Services Workshop

Autism Berkshire is pleased to host a free Accessing Public Services Toolkit Workshop for parents and carers. The workshop delivered by Cerebra, the charity for children with brain conditions, including autism, aims to support parents and carers of disabled people, as well as professionals who advise them, who are encountering difficulties with the statutory agencies in relation to the provision of health, social care and education support services.

By the end of this workshop you should be able to:

  • Consider commonly-occurring problems that parents face accessing services;
  • Recognise different types of dispute;
  • Identify and use the problem-solving approaches within the Toolkit.
