Introduction to SEND Law

Reading Rugby Club, Holme Park, Sonning Lane, Reading RG4 6ST

IPSEA will be running a training day for parents and carers in Reading.

The one-day training is designed to provide an introduction to the law on special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) - helping you to secure the right education for your child.

The training explains what your local authority and education setting should be doing to help, the process of obtaining an Education Health and Care (EHC) plan for your child, and also looks at what an EHC plan should contain.

The content is particularly relevant for parents and carers who are looking to secure additional support at school and/or an EHC plan for their child but would also be suitable for those who already have a plan in place and would like to learn more about the law and how it applies to children and young people.

Cost is £65.
